Thermalimide RCBS is a high performance release film treated both sides for cure temperatures up to 761°F (405°C). Thermalimide RCBS is an ideal release film used during the forming process of thermoplastic materials and other high temperature applications.
A4000 LFST material will shrink to closely fit the mandrel. A4000 LFST is ideal for providing a self-releasing cover for mandrels used in fabrication of hollow composite parts. A4000 release film is an approved material on all major aircraft specifications.
The Masterflex “S“ series is a flexible spiral square tube used as a reinforcing hat section stiffener on the backside of the tool face. Masterflex stiffens the tool face to avoid dimensional stability problems.
Stretchlon® 700 vacuum bag film is a high elongation elastomeric film which is designed for cures up to 385°F (195°C). It is particularly suitable for applications where softness and elongation are required.
Teflease MG 2 is a high temperature PTFE pressure sensitive tape. Teflease MG tapes will release from most resin systems. They are ideal for use on tooling blocks and all areas where high elongation and release is needed.
Superlease Blue peel ply is a high temperature fabric coated with a silicone release agent. It provides superior release to plain peel plies because the coating prevents the fabric from bonding to the laminate while producing a textured surface.
Toolguard is a high temperature, extruded silicone that provides protection to the mold and the operator during transportation and handling. Toolguard can be permanently bonded to the mold edge using RTV silicone adhesive.
Dahlar® Release Bag 125 (0.001 inch) is the ideal release film for polyester or vinylester resins as well as epoxies and phenolics. Dahlar® Release Bag 125 is also offered with our embossed, cracked ice pattern making it a breather, release film and vacuum bag all-in-one.
Airpad is an uncured non-silicone rubber that can be made into pressure caul sheets and flexible mandrels. The Airpad pressure intensifier provides uniform pressure distribution during autoclave processing.
Pressure Strip is used as an expendable item and discarded after each cure. Pressure Strip is applied on top of the release film in the corner of the lay‐up prior to vacuum bagging. Pressure Strip is a compound of butyl rubber, resin plasticizers and fillers. There are no silicones used in the manufacture of this product.
