Flashbreaker® 1R is now available in 1” x 2” (2.54 cm x 5.08 cm) Pre-Cut Tape Strips for customers who want to reduce touch labor and minimize the use of knives and scissors to avoid risk of hand  injury. In addition, it eliminates the possibility of damaging the vacuum bag.  There’s 2,500 cut strips per roll.

Flashbreaker® 1R tapes are high temperature / high tensile strength polyester film coated with a  pressure sensitive rubber based adhesive for oven or autoclave cures to 400°F (204°C). They help hold down vacuum bagging materials and thermocouple wires on metal or composites parts and  tooling. These tapes are designed for use in sensitive areas where silicone adhesives are not permitted.
